Abstract
Lipomas are benign tumor found in areas of abundant adipose tissue. They can be found anywhere in the body but are uncommon in hands and even rare in fingers. We report a case of lipoma in 71-year-old female who presented to us with a painless swelling of finger. Diagnosis was confirmed by clinical, radiological and pathological examination. Surgical excision was done. Lipoma should always be kept in mind as differential diagnosis in a finger swellings. Complete surgical excision is required to prevent the recurrence.
